Janet Morris

mcm-p-2013-13-308-641x1030Janet Morris was born in 1907, the youngest child of Marriott C. Morris and Jane Rhoads Morris.  Her father seemed to enjoy photographing his only daughter, who was nearly seven years younger than her brothers, Elliston Perot Morris Jr. and Marriott Canby Morris Jr.  Janet attended the Germantown Friends’ School and Connecticut College and married Harvey Theodore Butler in 1961.  Janet lived a very long life and died at the age of 103 in 2010.
